Fibre optic cables are used in the backbone /long haul transmission networks between cities, local access / distribution networks, connection between central office switches, and LAN (local area network) and cable television applications.

          Based on this vision MPTel has forayed into all aspects of broad banding viz. Fibre optic Cables, Wireless, Internet Cable and ADSL. The company has identified strategic partners for all the above four broad banding activities and has tied up with leading vendors of broadband equipment to cater to the Indian market. Along with broadband, Marshals’ appreciate that there would be a need for Content Providers.
