Marshals' Supersoft (MSS), started as an SBU of MPTEL, has commenced business in 1996. It was spun off as independent entity in June 98 as a corporate to function in the field of IT solutions with a mission to increase wealth of Stakeholders and Society at large through Convergence Technologies - the change catalyst. Marshals' Supersoft had been infused with Capital through other contributing members and developed capital base to facilitate growth and contractual obligations.

MSS has offices in Chennai and network in San Jose, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Pondicherry, Mumbai, Delhi and Bhubaneswar. MSS operates in areas of developing customized Software Solutions, Convergence Technology, Wireless Engineering and Application Maintenance in verticals including process and data communication, Systems Integration, Networking solutions, Wireless Communication, IT Education and Development.

Today, MSS has software development, multimedia development and IT Education and Development facilities located in South India that enables it to provide high quality, innovative, and cost effective services to clients in a resource-constrained environment. The Company provides a wide range of IT services and maintains a disciplined focus on its business mix in an effort to avoid service or client concentration.

MSS is the official promoter of COMFAR III Expert (a project appraisal software developed by UNIDO) for South Asian region. The company is also focused in providing Multimedia and Client/Server based IT solutions and in new service areas such as ISP services, Internet Consulting, Engineering Services and manufacture of Computer Hardware.

Marshals' Supersoft has had a good track record of growth and has achieved INR 227 Million and Profit after tax of INR 63 Million in the year 2000 - its second year of operations.

MSS's growth plans include expansion of business into South East Asian Countries, mainly the Former French Colonies like Mauritius, Madagascar, Cambodia, etc.

Presently, MSS is executing a prestigious Contract for Nationwide Computer Integration System for TCIL in Cambodia valued at USD 18.50 MIO. The Contract includes Wide Area Networking, and Software Solutions for Immigration Tracking, Police Department, and Control Monitoring Records including maintenance for 6 years and is to be executed in three phases.

MSS is active in the retail segment of IT Education and Development and specialize in providing best of class training in Telecom and Networking Software. Marshals' Supersoft has Business and Technology alliances with TELECOMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANTS INDIA LIMITED (TCIL), a Government of India Enterprise and an IS/ISO 9001 company. Marshals' have also entered into an MOU with TCIL for Exclusive Partnership for Opening Overseas Training and Development Centers.

In addition Marshals' have a strategic tie up with CENTRAL INSTITUTE OF PLASTICS ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY (CIPET) for providing specialized training in CAD/CAM, CAE.

MSS has strategic alliance with THE EUROPEAN WIRELESS INSTITUTE, which will help in ensuring that the vast pool of skill based software professionals are exposed to multiple platforms and computing facilities, to offer comprehensive IT solutions. It is also planning to provide specialized training in VLSI. The company promotes niche, high-end software. Marshals' has pioneered software development in the Power Efficiency Improvement programs of several utility companies in SOUTH ASIA.

Marshals' Logistics and Insurance (ML&I)

Marshals' is in advance stages of launching their logistic venture, Marshals' Logistics and Insurance (ML&I) in FY 2002. ML shall be a Global Freight Management Company catering to a comprehensive range of activities including Seafreight, Airfreight, Import & Export Consolidation, Customs House Agency, and Multinational Transport Agency. In addition, ML&I shall provide for the traveling and conveyance needs of its customers. Its area of operations shall include package tours to shifting to pick-up to advise on better locational facilities. The Services segment of ML&I shall cater to delivery requirements and customized solutions with activities covering Transportation, Distribution, Warehousing and Value Added Services.
